Patricia L. Jones

Of Squirrel Hill, age 64, passed into the arms of her Lord on Thursday, October 12, 2023. Loving mother of Laurel Fague (Jeremy) of Stamford, CT, and Gwen Jones of Goodlettsville, TN. Adoring grandmother of Elise, age 1. Sister of Kathryn Burgess (Joe) and Brenda Nichol (Herb). She was a wonderful aunt and great-aunt. 

Trish was born in Pittsburgh on February 20, 1959, to Robert Knight and Marilyn (Mullen) Bruckman. After the death of her father she was adopted and raised by William Bruckman. She completed a bachelor of science degree in technical writing from Carnegie Mellon University where she played the flute and proudly helped to reform CMU’s Kiltie Band. She was a member of Delta Gamma women’s fraternity. Trish had a career as a technical writer and was also a full time mother to her daughters. Her loves were reading, crafting, biking, and travel. She was born with her suitcase packed and is now exploring in Heaven. Her greatest legacy is her family and the adventures she shared with them.

Friends received at Wolfe Memorial, LLC, Forest Hills Chapel, 3600 Greensburg Pike, Pittsburgh PA 15221, on Tuesday, Oct. 17, from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday, Oct. 18, at 10:30 am followed by burial in Restland Memorial Park, Monroeville.
