Margaret "Peggy" P. Rumley
Obituary
Formerly of Verona, age 96, entered the presence of her Savior Jesus Christ on Thursday, February 23, 2023. Loving mother of Charles S. Rumley (Dolores), Margaret Porter (Jim), Rebecca Critzer (John), David Rumley, and Elizabeth Simonaire (Bryan). Survived by 18 grandchildren as well as 18 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband Charles D. Rumley, her son Samuel Robert Rumley, her brother Robert Reyburn, and her sister Betty Maynard. Peggy and her husband were missionaries in the Philippines for 10 years. She worked as a registered nurse and was a faithful member of Faith Bible Baptist Church in Wilkins Township, and also a member of the former Maranatha Bible Baptist Church in Wilkinsburg.
Friends received on Sunday, February 26, 2023 from 1:00 to 4:00pm at Wolfe Memorial, LLC, Forest Hills Chapel, 3604 Greensburg Pike, Pittsburgh PA 15221. An additional viewing hour will be held at Faith Bible Baptist Church, 150 Curry Avenue, Turtle Creek PA 15145 (Wilkins Township), on Monday, February 27, 2023 from 9:00 to 10:00am, immediately followed by a Funeral Service at 10:00am at the church. Burial in Restland Memorial Park in Monroeville, PA. Gifts in Peggy’s memory may be given to Faith Bible Baptist Church.
