Cynthia Lee Clifton, age 74, of Wilkins Township, PA, died peacefully on Sunday, July 19, 2026, of renal disease. Cindy or “Cin” was born November 3, 1951 in Wilkinsburg, PA, and was preceded in death by her parents James J. Clifton and Sara D. Clifton of Forest Hills. She is survived by her loving sister Christine D. Clifton, beloved nephew Craig C. Britcher, beloved niece Kelly S. Britcher, and her sweet Labrador, Sedona.

Cindy graduated from Churchill Area High School and received a B.S. in Physical Education, Health, and Recreation from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, where she played basketball and volleyball. In her youth, Cindy’s first job was being a lifeguard and she enjoyed swimming and playing softball and tennis. In her first career, Cindy taught physical education in the Cornell School District. Following her teaching days, she became a licensed property manager for Prudential Reality Company, Arnheim & Neely Inc., CB Richard Ellis, and Acri Community Realty. In 1990, Cindy became the first female president of the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) of the Western Pennsylvania Chapter 7 in Pittsburgh. After retiring from property management and being a lover of animals, she worked at the Pittsburgh Zoo and PPG Aquarium.
