Age 95, of Forest Hills, was called home to God on Monday, January 15, 2018. Beloved wife for 75 years of Edmund C. Appleby. Loving mother to Karen (Rand) Kane of Irwin, Wendy (Mark) Tarletsky of Denver, Colorado, and the late Bruce (surviving wife Carol) Appleby. Grandmother of Stephen and Zachary Appleby, Beth Woolwine, Holly Edwards, Emily Tarletsky and the late Brad Appleby. Also 7 beautiful great grandchildren. Sister of Marcia Schultz. Phyllis was active as a choir member and deacon at Forest Hills Presbyterian Church for several decades and was, along with her husband, Edmund, a member of Beulah Presbyterian Church at the time of her passing.
