Michael D. Elias

Age 67, of Forest Hills, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, May 24, 2018. Son of the late Michael A. and Dorothy (Rantovich) Elias. Beloved husband of Suzanne (Holbach) Elias and proud father of Nicholas M. Elias of Boston, MA, and Margaret A. Elias of New York, NY. Michael, raised in Irwin, PA, was a member of the Norwin High School Class of '68 and graduated from the University of Pittsburgh. He retired from the PA State Dept. of Revenue after more than 30 years. Michael was an avid sports enthusiast who contributed to the local community through many years of coaching and support. He loved music, good food, and cracking countless jokes. He will be sadly missed by his extended family and many friends. Friends received at Wolfe Memorial Inc. Forest Hills Chapel, 3604 Greensburg Pike, Pittsburgh PA 15221, on Tuesday from 4 to 7pm. Blessing service at Wolfe Memorial on Wednesday at 11am.
