Martha Gallick Obituary

 

Martha Gallick of Forest Hills (PA), preceded in death by husband, Robert Gallick, and, infant son, Michael, passed away March 4, 2018. Mother of:  Roberta (Robert J. Marefka), Leonard (Denise), Lorraine (Daniel Dimmock), Charles (Diane), Gerard (Terry) and Katheryn (Alvin Woessner). 

Born Nov 19, 1922, to Martin and Antonia Pecman, Lawrenceville, attended St. Mary’s Assumption and graduated from the all-girls Bellfield Vocational HS where she further developed her cooking skills. Besides cooking, Martha loved big band music, jazz, history, art, Steeler games, crosswords and current events.  Above all, she was a devout Catholic and loving mother and grandmother.

Also survived by sister, Elizabeth Ann Dixon;,  grandchildren Jennifer; Sarah Robertson, Emily and Hannah Dimmock, Elizabeth and Samuel; four great-grandchildren; cousin, Amelia Pecman Bunder; and numerous nieces and nephews. 

Martha was preceded in death by brothers and sisters: Frances Gould, Angeline Bates, Agnes Dumrauf, Mary Jordan, Josephine Szymkowiak, Martin (Jr), Robert and two infant brothers.

Friends received at Wolfe Memorial, Inc., Forest Hills Chapel, 3604 Greensburg Pike, 412-731-5001, Thursday only, 1 – 4 and 6 – 8 pm.  Mass of Christian Burial St. Maurice Church, Friday, 10:30 am.

Donations to St. Maurice Church, East Catholic School Angel Fund in memory of M Gallick.
