Marjorie H. (Harvey) Hershberger

Age 92, of Churchill on Sunday, December 17, 2017.  Beloved wife of the late Robert R. Hershberger, dear mother of Elizabeth Ann Hershberger (Gerald Goldenson) and Pamela May (Paul) Skwarko, loving grandmother of: Rebecca, Rachel and Nicholas.  Sister of the late David Harvey.  A Valedictorian of the graduating class of Ridgway High School.  Marjorie received her undergraduate degree from Indiana University of PA and a Masters in teaching from Penn State University.  She retired from teaching as a professor of Clothing and Textiles at Carnegie Technical Institute (now CMU) to raise her family. Marjorie volunteered for many years at Westminster Place and Churchill Meals on Wheels and was an active member of Beulah Presbyterian Church.  The family would like to extend gratitude to the staff of Woodside Place and the Willows of Oakmont for their loving care. Marjorie’s warmth, kindness and beautiful smile will be remembered by all who knew her.  Friends received WOLFE MEMORIAL INC, FOREST HILLS CHAPEL, 3604 GREENSBURG PIKE, 412-731-5001 WEDNESDAY ONLY 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. where service will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or Beulah Presbyterian Church
