Donald R. Redshaw, Sr.

Age 86 on Thursday, January 25, 2018, of Beatty Pointe Village, formerly of Swissvale. Beloved husband of 65 years to Ruth P. "Boots" Redshaw. Loving father of Patricia L. (Gerald Heller) Redshaw of Slippery Rock, Judith A. (Michael) Shovel of Murrysville, Ruth I. (Gary) Dmitrzak of Bethel Park, and Donald R. (Ruth) Redshaw, Jr. of Treasure Lake.  Preceded in death by 6 brothers and 4 sisters.  Loving "Pap-Pap" of Michael (Courtney) Shovel, Derek (Merri-Frances) Dmitrzak, Kylie Dmitrzak, Danielle Shovel, Leslie (Jeff) Kitsko, Carl Heller, and Mark (Gillian) Heller.  Loving great-grandfather of Emerson Shovel, Flynn Shovel and Caroline Heller. Don retired from Verizon after 44 years of service in 1992 and was a 30 year member of the Barbershop Society. Don was a proud Army Veteran of the Korean War.  Friends received Wolfe Memorial Inc., FOREST HILLS CHAPEL, 3604 Greensburg Pike, 412-731-5001, Saturday 6-8pm and Sunday 1-4pm only.  Service on Monday at 11am at McMasters U.M. Church, Turtle Creek, where Don was a beloved long-time active member. Memorials may be made to McMasters U.M. Church, Family Hospice and Palliative Care, or Hillman Cancer Center.
