JONES, VIOLET GOLDIE (DEBRECZENI)

Of Forest Hills, peacefully at home on Tuesday, July 25, 2017. Beloved wife of 58 years to Russell Jones; beloved daughter of the late Frank and Emma Debreczeni; loving mother of Violet (Randy) Chaffinch; sister of the late Ernest and Edmund Debreczeni. Also four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Violet was in the church choir 14 years between the United Presbyterian Church of Christ and the First Presbyterian Church of Edgewood. When she was young, she entertained on stage with Horvath Gustave and his Gypsy Orchestra. She was proud of her Hungarian heritage and active in her home town.  Violet won local pageants including being crowned Miss McKeesport and Miss Magyar.  She loved being an LPN at Harmerville Rehab Center.  Friends are invited to a Memorial Visitation at the Free Hungarian Reformed Church, 101 University Dr., McKeesport on Saturday from 11 a.m. until time of service at Noon.
