Olga (Harbula) Zinn

Olga Zinn, 98, formerly of Chalfant Borough, passed away in Savannah, Georgia on January 19th, 2018.  Born Olga Harbula in McKeesport, Pa on August 18th, 1919, Olga filled her family and many friends with love and kindness.  Always patient and willing to help, Olga had a passion for life.She worked at Westinghouse during WWII and while there served as editor for the employee newsletter and later was a seamstress. Olga worked tirelessly to complete her many beautiful projects. She was a long time member of Christ Lutheran Church of Forest Hills and spent many years there as an active member of the women’s guild. She made many life adjustments throughout her years and handled them with grace and a positive outlook. She enjoyed bible study, jewelry making, and taking many wonderful outings with her family almost to the end. Olga was a loving mother, wife, daughter, sister, aunt, grandmother, and great-grandmother and a caring friend. She was preceded in death by her husband Walter Blaise Zinn; along with her many brothers and sisters and her beloved son Walter Edmund Zinn (Trisha). She will be dearly missed by her devoted son Tom (Barbara); her grandchildren Laurel Turner (BJ), Terrence Zinn (Jennifer), John Galik, Andrew Zinn (Jasmine), Alex Zinn (Ben), great-grandchildren, Porter, Beckett, Watson, Bowen and Doanie and her loving and beautiful family of nieces and nephews. God now has the last of her generation from our family. Visitation will be held at WOLFE FUNERAL HOME, 3604 Greensburg Pike, Pittsburgh, PA on Friday, January 26th, 2018 from 2-4 and from 6-8 p.m. Church service will be at 10 a.m. on Saturday, January 27th, 2018 at Christ Lutheran Church, 400 Barclay Avenue, Forest Hills, PA, 15221 with burial to follow at William Penn Memorial Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Christ Lutheran Church or to a charity of your choice.
