Dora Jean (Marsh) Hedfors

Dora Jean Marsh Hedfors, age 85, of Forest Hills, originally from Latrobe, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 20, 2016.  Predeceased by her husband, Donald Hedfors Sr. and her brother Regis Marsh, she is survived by the loves of her life: Marsha (Joe) Logan, Adele (Paul) Limbacher, Donald Jr. (Lynda) Hedfors and Thomas (Amy) Hedfors.  She was the loving sister of Patricia Marsh, Kathleen (John) McCann; sister-in-law of Joan E. Marsh; grandmother to Heather, Jessica, Matthew, Vanessa, Michael and Cameron, great-grandmother to Adam, Quaymar, Jaquan and Angelai; “Aunt Sissy” to Colleen, Caitlin and Carrie McCann; and Aunt Dora to Kim, Shawn and Christopher Marsh, Ted (Ethel) Nelmes and Pamela (Hube) Merlin.  She was an active member of the Valley Dairy Senior Citizen Group.  She started her shoe addiction as an employee of Reed’s and she also worked at Murphys. She also was an active member of AARP 1411 and St. Bede's Senior Citizen Group.  She was known locally as the "cookie lady", she also loved going to rummage sales, playing Bingo, doing scratch-offs and winning at cards. Friends will be received at WOLFE MEMORIAL INC, FOREST HILL CHAPEL, 3604 GREENSBURG PIKE, 412-731-5001, TUESDAY ONLY, 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Mass of Christian Burial at St Maurice Church, Wednesday, 10 a.m.  Memorial may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
